Our Story

Rooted in Hollywood,
Boundless in Vision

Munera Studios was founded in 2006 on a simple premise: that independent film could carry the weight of a major studio production without sacrificing creative integrity. From a one-room office on Cahuenga Boulevard, we've grown into a full-service production company with a global footprint and an unbroken commitment to the art of cinema.

Today, Munera Studios operates from our Hollywood production campus, home to state-of-the-art sound stages, post-production suites, and a creative team of over 40 full-time professionals. We've produced 47 original projects, partnered with distributors across six continents, and earned 12 major festival recognitions.

A USC School of Cinematic Arts graduate with 19 years shaping independent cinema. Carlos's producing credits include three Sundance selections and an Emmy nomination for documentary work.

Creative Director

Formerly of Participant Media, Sophia brings a decade of visual development expertise to every Munera project. Her eye for narrative design has defined the studio's signature aesthetic.

Marcus Webb
Director of Photography

ASC member with credits spanning award-winning features and acclaimed commercials. Marcus's mastery of natural and cinematic light has become a hallmark of the Munera visual language.

Diana Yoon
Diana Yoon
Head of Post-Production

With roots in visual effects at Industrial Light & Magic, Diana oversees all editing, color, and VFX pipelines. She holds a technical Emmy for her innovations in on-set dailies workflows.
